Kathy Martin is a registered nurse with more than 50 years of experience in healthcare. Throughout her career, she has carried a strong sense of calling to both care for others and to teach, and she now feels led by God to pour into the lives of students at Great Plains Christian School.
Kathy is a creative individual with a passion for hands-on learning. She serves part-time as the school nurse while also teaching engaging art projects that encourage students to explore creativity and expression.
In addition to her nursing background, Kathy has attended Charis Bible College and brings a strong foundation of faith into her work. She is also excited to help develop and support the school’s “farm school” vision by teaching practical, hands-on skills such as baking bread and raising chickens.
Kathy is passionate about creating meaningful, life-giving learning experiences where students can grow in both knowledge and character in a Christ-centered environment.
